CURRICULUM
The materials in each classroom support the Montessori curriculum areas of Everyday Living, Sensorial, Math, Language, Geography, Science and Art. Classrooms are equipped with a full range of Montessori materials. These materials are set out in an exact manner from left to right, top to bottom, and concrete to abstract. Children move through the curriculum at their own pace under the guidance and direction of the teacher. The Montessori curriculum fosters independence and concentration in the young learner while providing the child with a life-long love of learning.

The Montessori classroom is rooted in a curriculum of peace. The environment, the actions and interactions between members of the classroom community, and the atmosphere of the school speak to the child of the importance of living in peace and harmony with each other and with nature.

The curriculum is enhanced with enrichment programs as well as activity days. Please refer to these links for additional information.
